Terms of Service

Our reports are preliminary feasibility analyses based on publicly available data (NREL PVWatts, ComEd/Ameren tariffs, Illinois Shines program values) and the inputs you provide. They are not engineering designs, structural assessments, permits, binding quotes, or guarantees of system performance. Site-specific issues — roof condition, shading, electrical service capacity, HOA restrictions — require an installer's on-site visit to evaluate.

Production estimates, cost projections, savings figures, incentive amounts, and payback periods reflect our best calculation at the time of the report. Actual results depend on installation quality, weather, utility rate changes, policy changes (incentive programs are amended frequently), and your own consumption patterns. We make no warranty — express or implied — that any specific outcome will be achieved.

When you opt into installer matching, we share your contact and project information with up to 2–3 vetted Illinois installers who match your project profile. You contract directly with the installer you choose — Aura Insight Solar is not a party to that contract and has no responsibility for installer performance, pricing accuracy, or warranty fulfillment. We verify each installer's Illinois license and basic profile, but we do not guarantee their work.

Payments for the $79 detailed report and $149 report-plus-match tiers are processed by Stripe. Reports are delivered within 48 hours of receiving your complete intake data. Refunds are available on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase if we materially failed to deliver the analysis described — contact us at solar@aurainsightenergy.com.

You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your property. You may not use the site to misrepresent another party, scrape rates or installer data, or interfere with the service. We may suspend access for misuse without refund.

To the extent permitted by Illinois law, our maximum liability for any claim related to a report is the amount you paid for that report. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Email us first at solar@aurainsightenergy.com — most things resolve in one or two replies. If we can't sort it out, disputes are governed by Illinois law and resolved in McLean County, Illinois.

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above is the authoritative version. Material changes will be emailed to customers with active records.
